Ella gets involved with her clients and, while on the phone with playwright Jeffrey Moss (Dean Martin), Ella falls in love with him. Problems develop because Ella will not reveal her true identity, but Moss and other clients appear together at Ella's doorstep, and all ends happily. The songs include "Just in Time" and "The Party's Over." The film received an Oscar nomination for Best Scoring of a Musical Picture.

But his problems really begin when gang boss "God" (Groucho Marx) orders Tony to do one more "job." He must get into the prison where his target, "Blue Chips" (Mickey Rooney), "resides." Tony ends up high on LSD, realizes he must get out of the prison, and with help from new-found prisoner friends gets the prison guards high on LSD and takes off in a balloon. Menawhile, Darlene has been taken hostage on "God's" yacht. And the wacky, weak film continues.

With her ability to appear and disappear and prevent a rescue of the Enterprise, Kirk may have met his match. "Let That Be Your Last Battlefield" (aired 1/10/1969, stardate 5730.2)-The Enterprise runs across a damaged shuttlecraft that had been stolen from Starbase 4. The life form on board is rescued, and thus begins an adventure of racial and social differences between two factions of people on the planet Cheron. How does Kirk get mixed up in such matters?

Margaret etches the word "Help" on her watch and then attaches it to D.C.'s neck. When D.C. arrives home to his owners Patti and Ingrid Randall (Hayley Mills and Dorothy Provine), Patti discovers the watch and calls the F.B.I. When agent Zeke (Dean Jones) arrives at their home, they decide to tail D.C., believing that he will lead them to the robbers and hostage Margaret. Zeke, Patti, neighbors, and friends join in the hunt and provide good slapstick comedy along the way.
