People start to believe when the monster heads down the East coast of the U.S. and invades New York from the sea. It is finally dealt with on Coney Island. Good early special effects and a glimmer of what would lie ahead in the monster world (e.g. Godzilla).

He reads about a robbery in which $209,000 was stolen and two robbers were slain but still keeps his secret cache hidden. Problems ensue when the third robber, Carl Farrow (Dick Contino), returns to the scene and finds the case missing. Now, both the police and Farrow set out to find the stolen money

They run into problems along the way, but, by story's end, lessons are learned, and the family regains its senses and returns to its old lifestyle. Playing a customer at the drug store, James Dean makes his first film appearance.

  Disney´s great movie. "the light in the forest" is a very interesting and beautiful movie. James Macarthur is wonderful. Great interpretation of a white boy who has lived with the Indians and returns with his white parents. My Disney´s favorite movie
