Before leaving Foo Chow, Winslow is visited by his opposing captain's daughter, Lady Jocelyn (Elinor Fair), and her fiance Raul de Vigny (John Miljan). Before Lady Jocelyn and de Vigny disembark, the ship sails away from the harbor, and problems lie ahead–including a typhoon, a mutiny encouraged by de Vigny, and even an attempted rape of Lady Jocelyn and murder of de Vigny after a chase that leads to the top of the rigging.
