  Sheriff Chris Bradley (Horace Murphy) and cattle rancher Jim Morgan (Lloyd Ingraham) want to drive homesteaders off their land, and Bradley deputizes three gunmen–Dog Town Kid (Johnny Mack Brown), Thinker Gibbs (Frank Campeau), and Ramrod Pike (John Beck)–to do the job. When the deal fails, Bradley hires Lobo Joe (Roger Gray) and his gang instead, but Lobo and his gang rob both Bradley and Morgan. Meanwhile, Dog Town falls for Marion (Beth Marion) and later reveals that he is a Texas Ranger in disguise. He straightens things out, arrests the guilty culprits, and promises Marion that he will return.

Now it's up to Clint to get things back on track.

  This tale of O. Henry's "The Cisco Kid" was the first Western talkie as well as the first sound film made outside of a studio. Army Sergeant Mickey Dunne (Edmund Lowe) is pursuing the bandit, The Cisco Kid (Warner Baxter), who is in love with Tonia Maria (Dorothy Burgess). While The Cisco Kid is away, Tonia falls in love with Mickey, and, together, they plot The Cisco Kid's demise. Warner Baxter received an Oscar for Best Actor in his role as the Cisco Kid. The film also received four Academy Award nominations including Best Picture and Director.

  This very successful first Charlie Chaplin feature film also was written and directed by him. It features Chaplin as "The Tramp" who rescues an abandoned baby from a garbage can and takes him home. Five years later, "The Tramp" is raising the "Kid" (Jackie Coogan) who breaks windows so that "The Tramp" will get jobs replacing them. Now, the "Kid's" Mother (Edna Purviance) has become an opera star who does charity work in the slums. Their paths cross, and the "Kid" is handed back and forth between "The Tramp" and the Mother. The story continues and involves whether "The Tramp," Edith, and the "Kid" will become a family or end up going their separate ways.
