  Family black sheep Raymond Cane (Andrew McCarthy) inherits a crumbling stone church in the English countryside. Raymond is ready to sell the church to the scheming Malcolm Slee (Bill Treacher)–until he learns that Slee believes there is a treasure chest buried on the property. Next, Raymond learns that a poor family with children lives on the property, and begins to change his ways with help from young orphan Diggity (Max Dolbey).
