In this reasonably accurate account of the story surrounding the Battle of Little Big Horn, Major Parrish (Dale Robertson) fights for Indian rights, but General Custer presses on into battle. In the aftermath, the Major is tried for treason and sentenced to death. Sitting Bull (J. Carrol Naish), Chief of the Sioux Indians, appeals to President Grant to pardon Major Parrish. The President, knowing the Major from the Civil War, grants the pardon.
