Giorgio (Lino Capolicchio) is invited to their home to do research for his school studies and falls in love with Micol Finzi-Contini (Dominique Sanda). Giorgio tries to draw Micol away from Italy, but she refuses, and now the politics of war close in on them.

Forced to take matters into his own hands, Palmieri gives the gang a lesson in street justice when he and his own newly formed gang raid the meeting of mob bosses, and a bloody massacre ensues. "The Big Racket" is the title of the English-dubbed version.

On his way to the meeting, Floyd, who has the diamonds in his possession, experiences car trouble and ends up in a motel run by Fred Norton (Massimo Girotti). It doesn't take long for Floyd to fall for Fred's wife, Michelle (Ursula Andress), and ends up in bed with her. But, now the diamonds are missing and matters take even more of a turn for the worse when Joe, suspecting a double-cross, arrives on the scene.
