Based on J. Lon Tinkle's excellent book, "Thirteen Days to Glory," this is a made-for-TV depiction of the valiant Texans who tried in vain to hold the Alamo as Santa Anna laid siege to the mission. Colonel Travis (Alec Baldwin), Davy Crockett (Brian Keith), and Sam Houston (Lorne Greene) are among the Texans who defend the Alamo against Santa Anna's troops, and the battles rage. After 13 days, the Alamo defenders are killed when the Mexican troops take over the mission. 1 User Review
