Jack reluctantly accepts help from Cain (Bobby Johnston) who is the only cyborg that respects law and order. Plenty of action follows, and, by the end of the hunt, Jack learns to respect Cain.

John Huston turns in a fine performance as the assassinated President's father Pa Kegan who is also the father of Nick (Jeff Bridges) who, 19 years later, tries to solve the case.
