Carlin watches events in the life of Claire Kuchever (Paula Patton) whose body was found in the ferry wreckage. Carlin knows that Claire had been murdered previously before the ferry explosion, and now, events heat up as Carlin watches, tries to save Claire from being murdered, and falls in love with her in the process.
