Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer 1986 N/R, 83 min. Genre: Drama / Horror / Thriller
Director: John McNaughton Cast: Michael Rooker, Tracy Arnold, Tom Towles, Mary Demas, Anne Bartoletti, Elizabeth Kaden, Ted Kaden, Denise Sullivan, David Katz, Pamela Fox, Bruce Quist, Ray Atherton, Eric Young
This is a powerful, but very disturbing, story based on the true life of serial killer Henry Lee Lucas. This low budget film used Chicago unknowns. No humor relieves the tension as Henry (Michael Rooker) goes about his business of killing people for no apparent reason. It is very graphic and may be too violent for some viewers.
