She sees Harry as a thorn in her side when he trains his classmates to defend themselves against Voldemort's dark magic. Umbridge throws the school into chaos when she launches a full-scale inquisition and gets some of Harry's classmates to spy on Harry to aid in her discrediting of him. Meanwhile, Margaret's sister, Helen (Helena Bonham Carter), cannot stand Henry's snobbish ways and is trying to help working-class clerk Leonard Bast (Samuel West) improve his station in life. Thompson won an Oscar for Best Actress, and two other Oscars were awarded. Six additional nominations were received including Best Picture, Director, and Supporting Actress (Redgrave).

Meanwhile, Beatrice (Emma Thompson) tries to gain the reluctant Benedick's love. Don Pedro steps in bringing both couples together under a false premise, and love blooms. This film will make Shakespeare fans out of even the most dubious. The sound track lingers long after viewing, and the two couples provide insight into two different styles of love.

Included in the stories are that Andre is her lover, a spy, and other assorted tales. When fellow vacationers give him a cold shoulder, he is told by Nicole what she has done. He even goes along with the ruse. This is a remake of the French film "Mon Pere, Ce Heros," ("My Father the Hero") also starring Depardieu but not nearly as good as the original.

A pirate, Billy Bones (voice of Patrick McGoohan), has given Jim a treasure map showing how to reach Treasure Planet, and Jim's purpose in signing on to the ship is to search for the treasures hidden there. Jim becomes friends with crew member John Silver (voice of Brian Murray) and learns that he is part cyborg and plans a mutiny. When Jim opts out of the mutiny, he finds an ally in marooned robot B.E.N. (voice of Martin Short) and tries to defend law and order. The film received a Best Animated Feature Academy Award nomination.
