But, the visit is called short when Sebastian learns that his domineering, Catholic mother, Lady Marchmain (Emma Thompson), is returning, and he is sure that she will disapprove of Charles' atheism. Later, Charles receives a cable from Sebastian who has hurt his foot and needs care. He invites Charles back to revisit Brideshead. This time, Charles meets and falls in love with Sebastian's sister Julia (Hayley Atwell), an emotional triangle develops, and Charles cannot resist his infatuation with Brideshead.

She sees Harry as a thorn in her side when he trains his classmates to defend themselves against Voldemort's dark magic. Umbridge throws the school into chaos when she launches a full-scale inquisition and gets some of Harry's classmates to spy on Harry to aid in her discrediting of him.   I saw this movie twice and enjoyed it. It misses a few points of the book but follows the theme for each story line. Try to see it on the big-screen!

  The English social-class system in the early 20th century is the backdrop for this creative film. Ruth's husband, Henry (Anthony Hopkins), keeps the will a secret after Ruth dies, but he does meet and fall in love with Margaret. They marry, but their class differences cause them unhappiness. Meanwhile, Margaret's sister, Helen (Helena Bonham Carter), cannot stand Henry's snobbish ways and is trying to help working-class clerk Leonard Bast (Samuel West) improve his station in life. Thompson won an Oscar for Best Actress, and two other Oscars were awarded. Six additional nominations were received including Best Picture, Director, and Supporting Actress (Redgrave).

He misses his flight, calls Marvin, and is told that he is fired. While consoling himself at the airport bar, Harvey meets Kate (Emma Thompson) who has her own problems but consoles Harvey, and he returns for the wedding reception where he offers a compassionate toast.

Embarrassed to be seen with him, and bitter about their past estrangement, she makes up stories about him to a handsome 16-year-old boy, Ben (Dalton James). Included in the stories are that Andre is her lover, a spy, and other assorted tales. When fellow vacationers give him a cold shoulder, he is told by Nicole what she has done. He even goes along with the ruse. This is a remake of the French film "Mon Pere, Ce Heros," ("My Father the Hero") also starring Depardieu but not nearly as good as the original.

Jim becomes friends with crew member John Silver (voice of Brian Murray) and learns that he is part cyborg and plans a mutiny. When Jim opts out of the mutiny, he finds an ally in marooned robot B.E.N. (voice of Martin Short) and tries to defend law and order. The film received a Best Animated Feature Academy Award nomination.
