There are 600 inmates, almost 300 escape, and many would later be recaptured and killed. But, their decision–considering whether or not to reduce themselves to killers–to fight against the Nazis does result in the Nazis closing the death camp and planting a forest in its place. Genre: Comedy
Director: Mel Smith
Cast: Jeff Goldblum, Emma Thompson, Rowan Atkinson, Geraldine James, Emil Wolk, Anna Massey, Kim Thomson, Hugh Thomas, Harold Innocent, Joanna Kanska

An American actor, Dexter King (Jeff Goldblum), is performing in London in a two-man show with an obnoxious cohort, Ron Anderson (Rowan Atkinson). Anderson steals the show and eventually fires Dexter but not before Dexter meets and falls in love with a nurse, Kate Lemmon (Emma Thompson). So far, so good–until Kate accuses him of cheating on her, and Dexter must now try to get her back. Not a bad romantic comedy.
