Other stories involve Diana (Robin Wright Penn) running into an old boyfriend, cancer patient Camilla (Kathy Baker) preparing for surgery, teenage Samantha (Amanda Seyfried) caring for her invalid father, and Sonia (Holly Hunter) who is upset with her cheating boyfriend. Good acting.

But, it is not until the end of their race to safety that Dutch is able to confirm his suspicions when he comes face to face with the Predator. There is a sequel.

FBI investigator Peter Keyes (Gary Busey) warns Harrigan and his team to stay out of it, but his advice goes unheeded. More people are killed, including some of Harrigan's team, before Harrigan confronts the Predator, injures it, and becomes the hunter rather than the hunted.

Meanwhile, Boyle falls in love with a Salvadorian, Maria (Elpidia Carrillo), and must find the means to get her out of the country alive. This is based on a true story and conveys the excitement of the time. Woods was nominated for an Oscar.
