  Federal agents Alan O'Connor and Bobbie Reynolds (Conrad Nagel and Eleanor Hunt) are in pursuit of ruthless bank robbers when O'Connor allows Reynolds to be kidnapped by the robbers. But never fear, by story's end he saves the day when he rescues her and captures the bank robbers. This is one in a series of four "G-Man" films. The others are "Yellow Cargo," "Navy Spy," and "The Gold Racket."

  Bad guys know there is gold in the hills surrounding the town of Yucca City, California, and try to force the townsfolk out of the area. But, never fear, undercover Marshal John Curruthers (John Wayne) saves the day when he comes to the aid of the struggling townsfolk.

This time around, O'Connor and Reynolds are on the trail of criminals who have kidnapped a scientist holding the formula for poison gas.

Followed in 1937 by "Navy Spy," The Gold Racket," and "Bank Alarm."
