Gossip abounds, and her fiance threatens to call off the wedding. Romer tells the real story and wins Ruth as a result.

Problems are inevitable because Mary's safari guides Jeff and Nick (Philo McCullough and Matthew Betz) have ulterior motives in the search for Dr. Brooks–including collecting a bounty for proof of Tarzan's death and stealing the lost treasure of the Zar.
