  In this, the last of the "Blondie" movies, Mr. Dithers (Edward Earle) makes a huge mistake when he puts Dagwood in charge of the office and goes on vacation. There were 28 movies in the series, and it was time to finish, as the episodes were becoming too much of a formula.

  Dagwood (Arthur Lake) decides to test a non-flammable paint on Mr. Radcliffe's (Jerome Cowan) house. When Joe Dillon (Wilton Graff) and Harry Slack (Ray Walker) steal the paint, Dagwood paints the house anyway. Of course, the wrong substance is painted on–with shocking results when the house is set afire. Blondie, looks into the matter and saves Dagwood's reputation.
