He admires their lifestyle, but at the same time he is jealous of their talents. One day while trying to save a cat, he accidentally kills it, and, in order to hide the killing, he covers it with plaster, thus making it a sculpture that goes on display at the cafe. The patrons consider it a work of art, and proclaim Walter to be a great artist. They want more, and the untalented Walter must resort to what was successful with the first sculpture–and people start disappearing. A real Roger Corman hoot–cheap but lots of fun.
