  Jess Tyler (Stacy Keach) has spent many years alone guarding an abandoned silver mine. His daughter Kady (Pia Zadora) appears on the scene and wants Jess to help her in a plot against the father of her illegitimate child. The father of Kady's baby abandoned her and is the son of the mine's owner. Now, Jess and Kady plan to steal from the mine as their way to exact revenge. Orson Welles' brief appearance as Judge Rauch is the highlight of this film.

  I remember seeing this movie when it was first shown in a New York City theater in 1967. Pretty good movie for its time.

  This is a sleeper. Outstanding class, first rate plot (high tension), great acting. All the ingredients of a top drawer movie.
