Based on the 1927 play "The Ape," this comedy/mystery is set in the mansion of an adventurer/archeologist who, 20 years previously, had taken priceless jewels from a Hindu temple and killed a sacred ape. Now, an assorted group of investors in that expedition have gathered at his mansion to claim their part of the loot. But the house is cursed by the ape, and, one by one, guests are murdered. Mindless fun and mayhem.
