Doug's 1st Movie 1999 G, 77 min. Genre: Animation / Family / Comedy
Director: Maurice Joyce Cast: Thomas McHugh, Fred Newman, Constance Shulman, Chris Phillips, Guy Hadley, Alice Playten, Frank Welker, Eddie Korbich, Becca Lish, Doug Preis
In this feature-length animated story, Doug Funnie (Thomas McHugh) is a 12 year old who finds a monster (Frank Welker) in a polluted pond, befriends the beast, and takes his new "friend" (disguised in a wig) to school. Refreshingly, this is a nonviolent offering for children that will probably prove entertaining to the younger set.
