This movie inspired the "Airwolf" TV series about a super helicopter that can do just about anything.

Mistakenly believing that their owners have deserted them, their adventure takes them from their home in Oregon on an incredible trek across the Sierras that happily ends with a family reunion on Thanksgiving Day.
