  In this remake of 1930's "The Green Goddess," Doug's (Warren Douglas) plane is forced down in a desert storm. He and his two passengers are taken hostage by a sheik who intends to trade the trio for his brothers who are held by the British.

  In this remake of "Alias Boston Blackie" (1942), Boston Blackie (Chester Morris) is involved in a magic act at a women's prison where inmate Dinah Moran (Constance Dowling) uses the act to disappear. Blackie learns that Dinah's ex-husband Lampau (Warren Ashe) is a magician who has changed his name to John Jani, is performing near by, and is planning to marry his assistant Irene (Trudy Marshall). Blackie warns Lampau that Dinah has escaped, hides him, and then masquerades as Lampau. But Lampau is murdered, and Blackie is arrested for the crime. Blackie escapes from prison and uses magic to trick the murderess into admitting that she killed Lampau.

  The series is getting stale, especially with Mohr as the Lone Wolf. This is his third and last role as the ex-jewel thief sleuth and in this episode he is accused of robbery AND murder while helping the police bring diamond smugglers to justice in Mexico.

  After a three-year gap in films, the Lone Wolf returns from WWII, with Gerald Mohr taking over the role of the ex-jewel thief sleuth. Eric Blore returns as the trusty valet as Lone Wolf gets involved in the case of priceless jewels being stolen from a museum. He must solve the case, since, among other things, he is a prime suspect. Not among the best of the series, but overall, it's fun.

  Bodies are discovered in a London boarding house, managed by Mr. and Mrs. Armitage (Miles Mander and Frieda Inescourt). The residents–including Mr. Bromilow (Bruce Lester), Sylvia Armitage (Heather Angel), Joe Reynolds (Paul Cavanagh), and Ram Singh (Turhan Bey)–become the suspects, and accusations fly. Meanwhile, Mr. Bromilow is reading a mystery novel and appears to have figured out who the murderer is. But, is he to be trusted?

  Olympic decathlon champion Glenn Morris takes over the role of Tarzan in this story involving a safari; an evil king; and the lovely lady, Eleanor (Eleanor Holm). While on safari with her uncle (George Barbier), aunt (Hedda Hopper), and boyfriend Nev (George Meeker), Eleanor is captured by Ben Alieu Bey (C. Henry Gordon). Tarzan swings in to rescue Eleanor and saves her from Ben Alieu Bey's grasp.

  Texas Grant (Tim McCoy) rides into Stampede and finds out that he is a dead ringer for a rancher who disappeared several years before. He uses the rancher's identity to help the missing rancher's wife (Shirley Grey) rid the town of a cattle-rustling gang that has been stealing her cattle. Texas gets help from ranch hand Steve (John Wayne, in an early film appearance) and even discovers he really is the missing rancher but had suffered from amnesia after a blow to the head. Go figure.
