When soap stars Adam (Scott Wolf) and Zack (Jay Mohr) approach Ronna for a drug deal, Ronna acts as a go-between for Simon and his drug dealer friend Todd (Timothy Olyphant) but is caught by DEA agent Burke (William Fichtner, and Adam and Zack are busted for possession.   Guys on the prowl around Hollywood–waiting for their big breaks in the entertainment world–talk to each other about how to pick up girls, but they manage more talking than action. Nevertheless, this movie understands the comedy that occurs BEFORE boy meets girl as guys work at being macho and loving at the same time.
