Shortly after their divorced dad (Tim Robbins) leaves for the office, squabbling, young brothers–Danny (Jonah Bobo) and Walter (Josh Hutcherson)–discover an old board game called "Zathura." When Danny starts playing with pieces of the game, a meteor shower invades the living room and hurls the house and boys into orbit around Saturn. Now, the only way to get home is to stop the bickering and to finish the game. But, can Danny and Walter stop their fighting long enough to succeed?
