Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth 1992 R, 92 min. Genre: Action / Horror / Thriller / Fantasy

This is one case where the sequel outdoes the original; special effects are even better than earlier "Hellraiser" movies. The story is about Pinhead (Doug Bradley) who once again returns from Hell and wants to stay on Earth. He offers J.P. Monroe (Kevin Bernhardt) forbidden pleasures if he will provide Pinhead with victims needed to provide parts for his new body.

Hellraiser IV: Bloodline 1996 R, 84 min. Genre: Horror / Thriller / Fantasy / Sci-Fi aka: Hellraiser: Bloodline
Director: Alan Smithee Cast: Bruce Ramsay, Valentina Vargas, Doug Bradley, Charlotte Chatton, Adam Scott, Kim Myers, Mickey Cottrell, Pat Skipper, Louis Turenne, Courtland Mead, Paul Perri, Wren T. Brown, Louis Mustillo, Jody St. Michael, Christine Harnos
This fourth in the series of "Hellraiser" films is not very entertaining–note the fact that the director is "Alan Smithee" (an alias used in Hollywood when the director does not want to be associated with his film). Anyway, this episode finds Pinhead (Doug Bradley) in the 22nd century. He is on a space station run by Dr. Paul Merchant (Bruce Ramsay) whose mission is to close the gates to Hell. Pinhead now sets out to prevent Merchant from acheiving his goal because Pinhead, of course, wants the gates left open.

Number six in the "Hellraiser" series went straight to video, if that tells you anything. Kristy (Ashley Laurence) has grown up and married Trevor (Dean Winters). Trevor survives a car crash, but soon strange things start happening with his mind. Pinhead (Doug Bradley) is back on Earth, again bringing Hell along with him.
