  The title song is a big highlight of this film about chorus girl Dynamite Jackson (Doris Day) who finds romance with businessman S. It turns out that Winthrop is already married to Marcia (Eve Miller), but when it is discovered that the marriage is illegal, the path is cleared for Winthrop and Dynamite to live happily ever after.

Gilmartin (Philip Carey), but when Gilmartin is attracted to Katie instead, Jane finally realizes that it is Wild Bill who she has loved all along. Terrific music; songs include "Deadwood Stage," "Secret Love," and "Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better." "Secret Love" won the Oscar for Best Song.

  This spoof on Hollywood musicals is Doris Day's third movie, and many Warner Bros. stars make cameo appearances. The story begins as Dennis Morgan and Jack Carson (Themselves) are preparing their next film and are unable to find a director, so Carson decides to take the job. Morgan is unhappy with Carson's decision and threatens to bow out–until Carson promises a waitress, Judy Adams (Day), at the Warner Bros. commissary a job as an actress if she will pose as his pregnant wife and convince Morgan that he needs the money. The ploy works, but there is no part for Judy in the film, and a dejected Judy returns to her Wisconsin home to marry her boyfriend. The film ends at the wedding when the newly married couple turns around, and the groom looks just like Errol Flynn (played by himself).

Day received an Oscar nomination for Best Actress, Thelma Ritter was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Jan's hung-over maid Alma, and the film won an Oscar for Best Writing.

Nine months later, the agency tells Augie and Isolde that they have a baby for them. The baby bears a striking resemblance to Augie. Is there more to this than meets the eye?
