Wallace Beery plays old salt Bill Johansen who is being pursued by Marge Cavendish (Marjorie Main) who would like to marry him. Marge loans Bill money to purchase his dream schooner that is on the auction block, and the adventures begin. But, after more than a few complications, Bill returns home to a smiling Virginia and marries Marge.
