But the genius who programmed the robots committed suicide, and the race is on to prevent the catastrophe. Excellent animation.

Sue Ann, who isn't what she appears to be, teams up with him in order to execute her own agenda. She starts by shooting her mother. Good performance by Tuesday Weld.

In all, four Oscars were awarded for this film, including Best Special Effects; five other nominations included Best Picture and Director.

Garry Spikes (Lee Marvin) is a veteran gunman who is wounded, and runaway boys–Les Richter (Ron Howard) and Will Young (Gary Grimes)–nurse him back to health. They love hearing Spikes tell about his past adventures, and Spikes encourages them to form an outlaw gang with him as their leader. Les and Will enter the world of bank robberies with Spikes, but then Spikes double-crosses them and hunts them as a bounty hunter. When Will decides to settle the score and get revenge, mayhem is certain to follow.

Valentino started out as a dishwasher, then found employment as a dancer, and quickly rose to stardom. Along the way, Valentino serves time in prison before finding work in films. Valentino died in 1926 after a short life during which he became a national celebrity.
