  Numerous times, bounty hunter Bucum Jackson (Ice Cube) has tracked down con man Reggie Wright (Mike Epps). This time, the trail leads to an abandoned warehouse, which, as luck would have it, is the drop-off area for a diamond heist. In the confusion, Reggie's wallet is stolen and, along with it, a winning lottery ticket. It isn't long before the unlikely duo of Bucum and Reggie team up to outwit the jewel thieves.

When a drug deal goes bad, 20/20 calls on his prison friend, Tony (Eamonn Walker). But, unbeknownst to 20/20, Tony works for a drug lord, and matters go from bad to worse.

His escape is in writing poetry and eventually getting his life together. Inspired by Paul Devlin's "SlamNation," a documentary about poetry slams (competition) filmed earlier the same year.
