  Set in a Paris nightclub, this is the story of dancing team Tony and Gaby Seymour (Douglas Fairbanks Jr. and Dolores del Rio) and the murder of Yvette Delange (Florence Desmond) who has been making a play for Tony. Yvette is accused as a murderess, and the real solution to the crime is revealed during the court scenes.

The Fugitive runs into a friend, James Calvert (Ward Bond), and an enemy who is a police enformer (J. Carrol Naish) during his fateful escape attempt. Very good–what else would you expect from John Ford?

She takes the son to the man's wife (Dolores del Rio) and asks that the wife adopt the boy. It is agreed, as long as the mother does not attempt to reclaim the child later. But that turns out to be difficult in this real tearjerker with good performances by the stars.
