It is 1988, and American pre-teen, ping-pong champion Randy Daytona (Bret DelBuono) competes in the Summer Olympics. His father, Pete (Robert Patrick), borrows money from Chinese triad boss Feng (Christopher Walken) and bets it all on Randy. But Randy loses the match, and Feng orders Pete's murder. Now it is nineteen years later, and Randy (now played by Dan Fogler) is approached by FBI agent Ernie Rodriguez (George Lopez) who wants him to infiltrate Feng's invitation-only ping-pong tournament. Randy agrees because he wants to help bring down Feng. But, he must get back in shape, and blind ping-pong master Wong (James Hong) and his niece Maggie (Maggie Q.) take on the task. The road leads to the film's climax in Central America where the deadly ping-pong games transpire.

Unfortunately, the script and execution are not as good as the series.

When Bolt is shipped accidentally from his TV sound stage in Hollywood to New York City, Bolt sets off on a cross-country trip, planning to use what he mistakenly believes are his super powers, to get back to Penny. Along the way, Bolt is joined by a cat, Mittens (voice of Susie Essman), and TV-obsessed hamster Rhino (voice of Mark Walton) and manages to make the trek through the real world. The film received an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature.

But, the bully Tank Evans (voice of Diedrich Bader) humiliates Cody during the contest. When Cody wipes out, he is rescued by lifeguard Lani (voice of Zooey Deschanel) who introduces him to her Uncle Geek who, it turns out, is really Big Z. Now, Big Z trains Cody for the next surfing competition, and Cody has a chance of getting his act together. The film received an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature.
