  Childhood friends Mitch (Lorenzo Lamas) and Boyle (Michael Pare) went in separate directions–Mitch took the higher road. Now Boyle, a bookie, wants Mitch's help with a counterfeiting caper, so he tells Mitch that Mitch owes him money that was borrowed several years previously. The slow Mitch, though not thinking he owes Boyle, agrees to help.

  Two large crates arrive at the Field Museum in Chicago where Dr. Margo Green (Penelope Ann Miller) works.
