The main characters are Ponyboy , a boy who dreams another world where he would me normal and happy as well as Johnny his best buddy. Then there is Dally Winston who looks at the world with much hatred, and the rest of the gang, Two-Bit, Steve,Sodapop, and Darry. |

Although Blanche appears to be a refined woman, Stanley learns there is more to her than meets the eye and sabotages her romance with his friend Mitch (John Goodman).
