After a ferocious, flesh-eating Critter stows away on their truck, vacationing Clifford (John Calvin) and his children Annie (Aimee Brooks) and Johnny (Christian and Joseph Cousins) return home to their apartment in Los Angeles. Although Charlie (Don Keith Opper) warns them about the Critters, the Critter reproduces, and their apartment building residents are terrorized by the hungry killers. Some of the residents manage to escape to the attic where they try to prevent becoming the next victims. The stage is now set for "Critters 4."
