  On her first day back at her family ranch on summer vacation from boarding school, 16-year-old Katy McLaughlin (Alison Lohman) discovers a wild mustang, names it Flicka, and begins training the horse to prove to her father, Rob (Tim McGraw), that she can handle ranching. But Rob is opposed and sells Flicka to a rodeo–leaving rebellious Katy no choice but to enter the rodeo and earn enough prize money to buy back Flicka.

Teaming up with a local "good" voodoo priest (Paul Winfield) and his daughter (Cathy Tyson), Alan finds that, as he gets closer to the answers, the resistance from the "bad" voodoo priest becomes greater, and he is in jeopardy of becoming a zombie himself. Based on a book by Wade Davis who actually looked for the drug. Good special effects.

Sheriff John Brady (Michael Murphy) investigates and, through his son Pete (Dan Shor) who had participated in mind-control experiments, finds that the murders appear to have started when Dr. LeSange (Arthur Dignam) ran the mind-control experiments in Parkinson's psychology department. But, LeSange is dead–or is he?–as Brady is about to find out. Special effects are well-executed.
