Tycoon Rod McCain (Kevin Kline) runs a very tight ship and demands profits from all of his enterprises. When he acquires a zoo, he places Rollo Lee (John Cleese) in charge. Lee decides to feature only dangerous animals and orders the shooting of all other animals. Enter McCain's son Vince (also played by Kline) and Willa Weston (Jamie Lee Curtis) who have their own ideas about Lee's goals.
