This spooky movie became the forerunner for no less than six sequels. This, the first, should not be watched alone on a stormy night! TV anchorwoman Karen White (Dee Wallace) suffers a near-fatal encounter with psychopath Eddie Quist (Robert Picardo) and, as a result, suffers from nightmares. Seeking help, Karen checks into "The Colony" run by Dr. Waggner (Patrick Macnee) and brings her husband Bill (Christopher Stone) along. Their first night at "The Colony," Karen and Bill hear nocturnal howling outside. A California cult that turns out to be made up of werewolves is responsible for the howling, and Karen and Bill may be their next victims. Great special effects.    1 User Review

Larry Valentine (Kevin James) is a widower working as a New York City firefighter when he is told that only a spouse can claim life insurance benefits. This leaves his children out in the cold. As a solution, Larry and his fellow firefighter Chuck Levine (Adam Sandler), who just happens to be a womanizer, take part in a mock marriage to beat the system. After the fire department sends an inspector (Steve Buscemi) to investigate the "marriage," Chuck and Larry hire a lawyer, Alex McDonough (Jessica Biel). Cast: John Ritter, Jack Warden, Michael Oliver, Gilbert Gottfried, Amy Yasbeck, Michael Richards, Peter Jurasik, Charlotte Akin, Anna Marie Allred, Adam Anderly, Robert A. Anderson, Cody Beard

This movie is AWFUL–so terrible that it spawned a sequel, an animated TV series, and a TV movie. Ben (John Ritter) works for his father, Big Ben (Jack Warden), a tough–and crooked–sporting goods dealer. Ben and his wife (Amy Yasbeck) decide to adopt a son and are conned into taking Junior (Michael Oliver) from the orphanage. They have more than they can handle with the mean, destructive demon. And then there's the bow-tie killer. Low-class humor.
