Troubles arise when Bernard wishes for the "Mona Lisa," and the police think that he stole it, but Josephus' magic powers take care of the problem.

Even the housekeeper, Mrs. Danvers (Diana Rigg, in an Emmy-winning performance), who admired Rebecca, makes her life miserable. But even bigger problems lie ahead.

He leaves behind him a small red pimpernel flower for which he is named. When Citizen Chauvelin (Ian McKellen) is sent to investigate, he closes in and uses Marguerite to confront Blakeney.
