But members of his gang, including his fiancee, are on their trail.

But the head of the institution, Dr. Renquist (Malcolm McDowell), is out to get Ian; in fact, Renquist murdered Ian's first wife–and staged the car accident–out of jealousy and now intends to take care of Ian.
