  Jerry (Zalman King) is on the run after committing a murder in self defense. He knows that something bad is going on: one-by-one, some of his neighbors in a quiet suburban community lose all their hair and then go into uncontrollable, murderous rages. His investigation leads to a professor at his university 10 years ago who developed an LSD variant "Blue Sunshine" and tested it on students. The drug's affects are now showing up.
