Prizefighter Davy (Jamie Smith) witnesses neighbor and nightclub dancer Gloria (Irene Kane) being attacked by her boss (Frank Silvera) and intercedes. This gets the boss more than a little upset, and he sends a killer after Davy. Now Davy and Gloria are on the run. A fair film noir in an early Kubrick effort.
