My favorite movie of all time. Excellent drama. Puts you in the situation of the actors. Believable character interactions. I am truely disappointed in the low rating this movie has gotten. Should be 10 stars.

Excellent Historical Fiction piece. Certainly one of Melanie Griffith's best movies, if not THE best. Don't let the "Romance" factor fool you into thinking this is a "Chick-Flick." You'd be missing a truly excellent film.

I loved this movie.Shredder 09/21/2011
