William Shakespeare's play is again brought to the screen–this time transplanted from the Forest of Arden to 19th-century Japan. Traveling with her are her cousin Celia (Romola Garai) and the court jester Touchstone (Alfred Molina). Along the way, she runs into the man she loves, Orlando (David Oyelowo). Now, Rosalind uses her disguise as Ganymede to test Orlando's love.

Garrigan enjoys his new position and apparently is oblivious to the tortures and murders of those opposed to Amin–until he is clued in by British Agent Nigel Stone (Simon McBurney). Garrigan now sees the error of his ways and tries to escape from Uganda alive. Forest Whitaker received an Academy Award Best Actor.

When the check does arrive, Lena buys a house in an all-White neighborhood in Chicago, and the Younger family becomes the first Black family to move in.
