  In this third of the "Beethoven" films (this one was direct to video), Charles Grodin declined the offer to repeat his role as the Newton family patriarch. The plot involves the Newton family reunion for which the father, Richard (Judge Reinhold), rents an RV. Just as they are ready to leave for California, the Newtons get a surprise: Beethoven will be joining them.

  James Willson is so skinny and nice boy and he is so easy other person take him down to sit up him and I want that movie James Willson got run over by a steamroller.

  Scotty Smalls (Tom Guiry) is a shy boy whose mother and stepfather (Karen Allen and Denis Leary) move with him into a new neighborhood. He makes friends with Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez (Mike Vitar) who teaches him how to play baseball, and Scotty joins Benny's sandlot team that desperately needs its ninth member. Scotty helps himself to his stepfather's "Babe Ruth" autographed baseball and hits it for a home run. The problem is that the ball lands in Mr. Mertle's (James Earl Jones) junkyard, which is guarded by Mertle's snarling dog "The Beast." Now, the fun begins as Scotty and Benny devise ways to get the ball out of the junkyard by building ball-retrieving machines.

He did not tell his son, John (Tim Daly), about the trip, and John is determined to track down his father and son. But he must remember the old stories told by "Pop Up" in order to figure out where his father and son are.
