The fight begins, and "Kid Galahad" refuses to give up. He wins the match–and the love of his life, Rose (Joan Blackman), as well.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Bickerman (Betty White) tells them stories about her missing animals and husband. Now, the lake is the focus of an intense search for the mysterious creature that appears to have developed an appetite for animals and people.
