  While being trained at Kamp Woody "summer camp" as a future CIA agent, 15-year-old Cody Banks (Frankie Muniz) is given a new partner, Derek (Anthony Anderson), and the assignment of tracking down demoted agent Diaz (Keith Allen) who is in cahoots with Lord Duncan Kenworth (James Faulkner) to use stolen mind control software to take over the minds of world leaders. Diaz is in London, and Cody enrolls in a British private school where he poses as a clarinet player in the band in order to retrieve the stolen mind-control device. At the school, Cody teams up with another teenager, Scotland Yard operative Emily (Hannah Spearritt), and they try to stop Diaz from taking over the world.

  When the time nears for his release from prison, a sullen Colin Briggs (Clive Owen) is transferred to a minimum-security prison, Edgefield, where he shares a room with a kindly older prisoner, Fergus Wilks (David Kelly). A wary friendship develops, and Briggs receives a packet of violet seeds from Wilks for Christmas. Briggs plants them, they survive, and it isn't long before he is gardening with other prisoners. When gardening guru Georgina Woodhouse (Helen Mirren) comes to town for a booksigning, she spots Briggs' garden and gets the jailed gardeners a spot in a contest for England's best garden at the Hampton Court Flower Show. Meanwhile, romance blooms between Briggs and Woodhouse's daughter, Primrose (Natasha Little), who have plans for their own "gardening."

  This made-for-TV miniseries stars Anthony Hopkins as the hunchback Quasimodo who is the bell ringer at Notre Dame Cathedral. The sensuous gypsy Esmeralda (Lesley-Anne Down) consoles him by bringing him water, and Quasimodo falls in love with her. Later, after she is falsely accused of murder, Quasimodo rescues Esmeralda and brings her to the safety of the cathedral. But, his love for Esmeralda is doomed because she is in love with handsome soldier Phoebus (Robert Powell). This film features an outstanding supporting cast to provide an enthralling version of Victor Hugo's novel.

  This modern-day fairy tale is set in Ireland and begins with Grandfather (David Kelly) finding a beautiful–and perhaps magical–white horse on the beach. He gives it to his two grandsons, Tito (Ruaidhri Conroy) and Ossie (Ciaran Fitzgerald), who live in the slums of Dublin with their ex-"traveler" father, Papa Reilly (Gabriel Byrne). After the horse is taken by the police in order to sell it to a rich man, the boys steal it back and head west on the horse for a magical adventure with the police in pursuit. Some gritty moments, but the ending is happy.

  Not only is the movie excellent, but the funeral scene is one of the best scenes of all time. A true gem, this one is.
