The TV Set 2007 R, 87 min. Genre: Comedy
Director: Jake Kasdan Cast: David Duchovny, Sigourney Weaver, Ioan Gruffudd, Judy Greer, Fran Kranz, Lindsay Sloane, Justine Bateman, Lucy Davis, Willie Garson, M.C. Gainey, Wendle Josepher, Philip Rosenthal, David Doty, Matt Price
Satire is the name of the game in this film about Mike Klein (David Duchovny) attempting to get his pilot made and then aired on TV. Gaining control of his actors is hard enough, but Mike quickly learns that dealing with studio executives (Sigourney Weaver and Ioan Gruffudd) is even more difficult.

Vacancy 2007 R, 80 min. Genre: Horror / Thriller
Director: Nimrod Antal Cast: Kate Beckinsale, Luke Wilson, Frank Whaley, Ethan Embry, Scott G. Anderson, Mark Casella, David Doty, Norm Compton, Caryn Mower, Meegan Godfrey, Kym Stys, Andrew Fiscella
Although divorce is in the near future for Amy (Kate Beckinsale) and David (Luke Wilson), they do attend Amy's parents' anniversary celebration. Problems develop on the trip home when David gets lost, they argue, their BMW breaks down, and they rent a shabby room from night manager Mason (Frank Whaley) at the Pinewood Motel. To relieve the tension, David plays an unmarked videocassette that he finds in the motel room. There is a problem with the cassette: the video appears to have been filmed in David and Amy's motel room and involves frightened guests being tortured and murdered. David and Amy realize that they, too, are being filmed by hidden cameras and that, if they cannot find a means of escape, they are doomed to be the next victims.
