Jim and Mala form a friendship, and, as they set out to rescue Mala's father, they realize that the inhabitants of Earth and Terra are not really different from each other. The selection upsets martial arts instructor Shifu (voice of Dustin Hoffman) and his prize students–Tigress, Monkey, Viper, Mantis, and Crane (voices of Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu, Seth Rogen, and David Cross)–who expected to be selected, and Shifu refuses to train Po. Now, Tai Lung escapes from prison, and the prize students head out to intercept him, leaving Shifu with no choice other than to train the flabby Po to fulfill the prophesy and save Peaceful Valley from Tai Lung's wrath. The film was nominated for a Best Animated Feature Oscar.

Corky St. Clair (Guest) leads the town's Blaine Community Players and is in charge of putting on a musical about the city's history. The problem is the lack of talent, and they want to impress Broadway producer Mort Guffman who has been invited to the show. The dream continues as they try to make the most out of what they have. The closing credits are a highlight of this film.

Later, Zed and Oh are sold into slavery and become orgy slaves in the city of Sodom where they attract the attention of a High Priest (Oliver Platt).
