Danny finds that the wallet is filled with graft money, and this time, he finds himself in over his head and suffers the consequences.

In the midst of John's dilemma, he runs into his ex-girlfriend Marianne (Dana Delany) and looks to her as the answer to his problems. But, Marianne is a recovering drug addict and doesn't want to become involved with John. John's problems grow even larger when the police investigate the murder of a woman involved in a drug transaction, and John worries that the clues are leading to him. Touches of humor offset the "heavy" subject.
